Rules and Policies
Payment
Statements will be emailed mid-month and due the LAST WEEK OF EACH MONTH FOR THE UPCOMING MONTH. Payments received on or after the 1st will be charged a $20.00 late fee. All bank returned checks will incur a $25.00 charge. There are no refunds!San Mateo Gymnastics is not obligated to give refunds and does not prorate any of its classes for absences. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO GIVE THE FRONT OFFICE A TWO WEEK WRITTEN NOTICE of your intention to discontinue classes. If you fail to do this you will be charged tuition until you notify us.
Annual Registration
For secondary insurance and administrative costs, there is a $50.00 annual registration fee per student.
Insurance Restrictions
Due to insurance restrictions and for the safety of your child, no one is allowed in the training area before class begins or without an instructor. When class is over, the gymnast must leave the training area. The instructors will need to start the next class and therefore cannot supervise them. Only registered gymnasts are allowed in the training area. Our insurance does not allow parents or non-registered students in the training area, except during Munchkin & Me classes. Adults may not wear children or have siblings on the floor.
Family Discount
With 2 or more children enrolled you will receive a 5% discount on monthly fees. Children attending more than one class per week will receive a 2.5% monthly tuition discount.
Holidays
There are no makeups for holidays. They are fixed into the monthly tuition rates. Scheduled holidays are:

Dress Code
Girls must wear a leotard or one-piece/swimsuit. No skirts or tutus are allowed. Tight leggings or shorts can be worn over leotard. No jewelry other than post earrings that do not hang below the earlobe can be worn. No jewelry worn around the neck, wrist, waist or ankles. Boys can wear t-shirts and shorts or sweats without pockets, zippers, snaps or buttons.
Late Policy
For your child’s safety please arrive on time. Students arriving 5 or more minutes late will not be allowed to participate in class. The warm-up is very important to your child’s safety. You may schedule a make up with the front desk if you are late.
Makeup Policy
We do not offer any makeups, credits or pro-rates for missed classes or gym closures.
If your child has been injured please provide the front desk with a doctor’s note with the date of injury and return date.
